Today is my first blog post EVER!

I’ve decided that I need to start sharing the ideas and inspirations I have with teaching.  After 26 years, I’ve had UPs and I’ve had DOWNs.

But definitely there have been more UPs by far.  

I already pass along ideas and inspirations at workshops, but so often those focus on one activity, such as, edu-sketching, geo-inquiry, or even travels.

BUT this blog will give me the opportunity to pass along bits of wisdom in lesson ideas, classroom management, and opportunities.

So often as teachers we become isolated and stagnant.  This blog is my attempt to offer you, the reader, ideas AND help me to think things through and find new methods and strategies that would work for my students and my education.

I’m looking forward to sharing my journey with you and hopefully, learning from you also!

So just like my son watching our departure from Sausalito only to return that evening…
